Truss Bar, aka Kafer Bar

A "Kafer Bar", as the old timers call them, is a MUST for any car with a High Performance motor.  The crossbar bolts between both rear shock towers, and two adjustable legs bolt to ends of your frame horns using the engine/transmission support bolts.  This provides superior strength for the frame horns, which tend to twist, bend, and crack under the load of an engine that is putting out a large amount of power.  It really helps to eliminate wheel hop associated with hard take-offs, as well.  This bar is a MUST for any off-road car too, where bouncing around will fatigue the rear frame horns. Bars are powder coated, and heim joints are high quality and made in USA. Easy to installation. Some minor body trimming may be required.  Will not fit VW Thing, or vehicles equipped with oversized starters (such as the Bosch Autostick SR17).
