Top Lock Nuts, 8mm, Locking, Great For Exhaust, Set/8

These are locking nuts that really stay positively locked, once installed.  They have a pinched and distorted thread toward the top that grips securely once torqued down.  They are one-time use only.  They will not melt at high temperature like nylocs will, making them well suited for exhaust applications.  Zinc-plated steel, so they will rust, especially with heat.  This makes them well suited for exhaust flanges or areas where you're going to be replacing the bolt at the same time. 13mm wrench size.  We don't recommend using them on studs, as the threads will distort and need to be replaced when you replace the nuts.
