If you want a nut or bolt to not back out after it is torqued, use threadlocker on the threads. The BLUE version is considered "Medium Duty". The fastener can be removed easier than with the RED version, which is considered "High Strength". Common uses for blue formula are tin screws or engine nuts that vibrate loose, etc. Common uses for the red formula are gland nuts to hold the flywheel on, ball joints, or things that you aren't going to need to get off very often.
