Monitoring oil pressure in your air-cooled VW engine is a must, especially if it's a high performance engine.  This oil pressure gauge is of excellent quality, and compatible with VDO 0-80psi sending units. It fits the industry standard 52mm mounting hole. This is an electrical gauge, so there is no tube to run to your dash from the engine. It requires installation of a sending unit. We recommend using a VDO 360-006, which replaces the stock VW sending unit and has a second terminal to hook the gauge wire to.  Easy peasy.
