J-Tube, Heater Box Delete, Industrial Cooling Tins, Set/2

Commonly known as "Industrial Tins", these are the tins on the bottom of the engine that are used in conjunction with the "sled tins" to guide hot air out toward the rear of your engine when using J-tubes instead of heater boxes.  They came from the factory on the 1973 VW Thing, which had no heater boxes.  They were also used on VW industrial engines that ran air compressors, water pumps, etc., which required no heater boxes, either.  They fill the large air gap in the side where the heater box normally goes, connecting to the lower tins under the push rod tubes.  Fit Type 1 engines.  Sold in pairs:  Left and right.
