If the hose (also known as the bellows) that connects your heater box to the tube in your body is cracked, broken, or missing, your heater isn't going to work very well! This is an insulated replacement that keeps the heat in. NOTE: If you have an earlier car that has a later 1600cc or larger engine, you're going to need an adapter hose, as these have different diameters than the stock engines that came with the car. We have noted the diameter of the hoses on each side to make this swap a bit easier.
