This is the very best set of carburetors you can install on your dual port Type 3. The short manifolds and air cleaners provide just enough clearance to fit everything under the deck lid. As a rule of thumb, the 40 HPMX's are best for 1835cc and smaller, whereas the 44 HPMX's are best for 1904cc's and larger.
