The original cloth braided brake fluid hose has not been available for quite some time.  This is one alternative.  It is safe for DOT 3 fluid from the brake reservoir to the master cylinder. It has thinner walls than the original green braided type hose.  See photo.  It is sold each, in one meter lengths.
