If your clutch is chattering as you ease the pedal out, there's a good change you need more bend in the bowden tube that the clutch cable is in.  This is a pack of eight 12mm washers that should provide plenty of deflection for the tube.  You'll normally only need 2 to 4. They can also come in handy if your wing nut is bottomed out against the clutch arm.  By adding more shims, you effectively shorten the length of the cable inside.
