Cobra™ Oil Temperature Fan Switch #8AN & 1/2" Barb Fitting

This is a temperature sender that installs inline with your oil cooler and fan set-up.  It activates your electric cooling fan when the oil temperature reaches 180 degrees and shuts it off when it drops to 165.  Normally, it is installed on the inlet side of your aftermarket oil cooler before the oil returns to the case.  It can be installed on the outlet side, as well, if desired.  This prevents the fan from running all the time, so the engine gets to normal operating temperature sooner. Comes with male/female #8 (-8) AN switch and 1/2" barbed fittings, so it can be used with either type of system.
